Saint Bernadette's debut 'In The Ballroom' is a shimmering set of torchy, if not necessarily romantic jazz blues that reveals additional layers the more it's played. Led by Meredith DiMenna's supple, velvety voice - somewhat like a combination of Norah Jones, Toni Price, Peggy Lee, and Billie Holiday - the project exudes a sensuous sheen. Turn the lights down low, burn some incense, and lose yourself in Saint Bernadette's intense yet lithe charms. - All Music Guide (4 stars)

Singer Stephanie Morgan's live persona has been described many ways: "angelic," a "hyperactive siren," and possibly the most accurate, "Jim Morrison taking ballet lessons." Morgan, along with her husband, keyboardist Chuck Lichtenberger, guitarist Michael Libramento and a drummer named "Krum" make up Asheville-based Stephanie's Id. Their latest CD 'Grus americanus' is a blend of lush electro-pop and smoky R n' B vocals that has landed them serious critical acclaim, a rabid regional following down South, and a spot at this year's Bonnaroo.
