The Damnwells

  • The Damnwells are an infectious rock quartet that specializes in poppy alternative rock that often journeys into majestic and dreamy territory. Forming around the turn of the century, the Damnwells centered around singer/guitarist Alex Dezen, former Whiskeytown drummer Steven Terry, bassist Ted Hudson, and guitarist Dave Chernis. Recording throughout the spring of 2002, the resulting debut, PMR + 1, came out that fall after a successful stint as Cheap Trick's opening band. In 2003, Bastards of the Beat was released on indie label Sixthman (and then re-released the following year when the band signed to Epic), and after a move to Rounder, their fourth album, Air Stereo, hit shelves in 2006. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide

Colin Smith

  • I sing in MRNORTH (new album "Fear & Desire" out now!), but for the longest time I have been doing acoustic shows outside of that. Over time I wrote a bunch of material for playing at those shows. I recorded some at home, and recently my friend Tony Bruno has helped me demo them in a more realized fashion. So here after much reluctance is my myspace page where you can listen to the tunes as they come.....

The Modern Society

  • The Modern Society, an Atlanta Georgia based band, began much like a natural disaster forms...several elements of different origins and proportions collide forming something both dangerous and beautiful. Being fans of the early 60's polished mod movement along with the gritty leather and rock n' roll culture of the 50's these young musicians formed The Modern Society. Combining several elements taken from their diverse influences listeners from a variety of musical taste have been able to relate easily with the music they create.
    enjoy.
