Nominated for a grammy at the age of 6 years old for a duet with his dad called "daddy what if"-written by Shel Silverstein - has a degree in psychology from the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE - is VERY afraid of elves - made 2 albums for Immortal Records with his band BARE JR. one for sony records in 1998 and one for virgin records in 2001- born in Nashville, TN june 28, 1966- has 2 children and one soon to be ex-wife- believes that blue is a flavor and not a color nor a feeling- you can see bobby's mother singing on the "TOWN HALL PARTY" DVD set under the stage name JEANNIE STERLING or on you tube at http://youtube.com/watch?v=ncX-a3fDSdM -- has made 3 albums and 1 ep for BLOODSHOT RECORDS since 2003- co-produced his dad's last record THE MOON WAS BLUE in 2006- grew up in HENDERSONVILLE, TN with George Jones and Tammy Wynette as his next door neighbors- is only making music in the hopes of getting one step closer to his ultimate dream of being STEVEN PATRICK MORRISSEY'S personal bicycle mechanic- has toured with- DR. DOG, THE WALKMEN, THE DECEMBERISTS, THE BLACK CROWES, BOB DYLAN, AREOSMITH, MY MORNING JACKET, CENTRO-MATIC, THE BOTTEL ROCKETS, THE DRIVE BY TRUCKERS, ANDREW BIRD, and THE OLD 97's has been romantically linked to the BOB'S BIG BOY boy- in June of 2007 Bobby was asked by a casting company to audition for the role of "Shrek" for "Shrek the Musical" on Broadway- is on HOUSTON PARTY RECORDS in spain and HAZELWOOD RECORDS in germany- did a family album of all SHEL SILVERSTEIN songs called "SINGIN' IN THE KITCHEN" in 1975- can NOT speak mandrin chinese- had all his songs critiqued by SHEL SILVERSTEIN till shel died in may of 1999- sang on the song "getting back into you" on THE SILVER JEWS album "TANGLEWOOD NUMBERS"- sang on the song "horses" on WILL OLDHAMS' album "bonnie prince billie sings Greatest Palace Music"-------------------------------

The Broken West formed in Los Angeles in the summer of 2004, a group of friends from all across the country, coming together based on their mutual love of music. Originally known as The Brokedown, the band changed their name in the fall of 2006 in response to concerns from another band out of Chicago with a similar name. Names may change, but great music still remains.

The Builders and The Butchers

Although the Builders and the Butchers formed in Portland in the mid-2000s, the band's hybrid of folk, country, and twangy roots rock evokes the Great Depression more than the contemporary Northwest. The group's beginnings date back to fall 2003, when frontman Ryan Sollee relocated from Alaska to Portland with his then-current band, the Born Losers. A newfound fascination with blues, country, and gospel music convinced Sollee to launch a different project, and the musician teamed up with several local musicians -- including bassist Alex Ellis, organist/percussionist Ray Rude, drummer Paul Seely, and mandolin/banjo player Harvey Tumbleson -- to form the Builders and the Butchers. Playing their first show in fall 2005 (on Halloween weekend, no less), the Builders quickly found an audience with their dark, Southern gothic songcraft, most of which was played on acoustic instruments with little amplification. Although the band was forced to add amplifiers as the crowds increased, the down-home appeal still remained, and local Americana label Bladen County Records soon signed the Builders and the Butchers to their roster. A self-titled LP followed in March 2007.

An ability to play a large crop of instruments with equal amounts of precision and passion allows Golden Bloom frontman, Shawn Fogel, to take the wheel in his own band while holding on to his solo roots. Currently in the studio with producer/engineer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Mates of State), Fogel plans to release Golden Bloom's next LP in early 2009.
