Division of Laura Lee

  • Since their first gigs back in 1997 Division Of Laura Lee have kept their audience in constant shock and many fellow bands in awe. Their mix of violence, energy, dark non- compromising lyrics, and well crafted, beautiful songs is toxic. Some say Division Of Laura Lee is not a band, but a world class lethal drug. If you’ve been set afire by the explosive Molotov cocktails they’re throwing out, you know you’re fucked. You better not loose sight of the dealer.

Division Of Laura Lee released their first album Black City in 2002 and their second Does Not Compute in 2004, both recorded by The Soundtrack Of Our Lives bass player Karl Gustavsson in the legendary Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg Sweden. By way of constant trashy touring (the sleeping-with-rats-on-shitty-floors kind) they’ve been gigging every creepy cave in Europe and most of the ones in USA, part headline, part with other bands such as The Donnas, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Trail Of Dead, Turbonegro and International Noise Conspiracy. Having their strongest ground in USA they’ve performed at Craig Killbourne show and hosted 120 Minutes on MTV, attended SXSW festival 2 times, and been praised through out all relevant press.

The new album is again recorded by Karl Gustavsson and will be released on I Made This during the Autumn of 2008. It goes under the title: “Violence Is Timeless”. Your money back if it’s not their best yet.

GSX

  • "GSX is fronted by Sarah Greenwood (vox & guitar). She kicks ass in a way that makes all the hairs on your spine stand up. With a full male backing, this ain't no "chick" or "grrrl" rock. This is GSX: a mean machine with no holds barred. GSX has a big future to tap into, so listen up and catch 'em while you can!" - NY Waste

"NYC-based rocker Greenwood may be classically-trained, but the ballsy head-banging spirit of Joan Jett rattles in her bones." - CMJ MusicFest

With a strong record ("Manifest") under their belt and a solid reputation for their fiery live performances, it's only a matter of months before GSX break into the national arena.

Lieutenant Marscapone

  • Lieutenant Marscapone combines pop-driven sensibility with the energy of post-punk, harkening images of the Everly Brothers surrounded by frenetic drums and explosive, distorted bass tones. Not quite fitting the mold of the Indie, Modern, or Noise rock scenes,Lieutenant Marscapone possesses a certain sonic variability, with melodic, yet unapologetic lyrics narrating tales of love, loss, and anger. In and out of dark basements since their inception in the fall of 2007, they emerged with their debut EP, "Paragraph "(June 2008), a sonic landscape that straddles the delicate balance between seclusion and revival.
