Filligar - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Filligar
Hailed as “one of the best young bands in America,” Filligar is the rock n’ roll quartet comprised of the three Mathias brothers—Johnny, Pete, and Teddy—and their lifelong friend Casey Gibson. Drawing comparisons to a “young Rolling Stones” and called “the next Kings of Leon,” the band gives classic rock their own unique and distinctly modern edge. They've headlined sold out shows at the nation's most acclaimed venues, toured the United Kingdom to wildly enthusiastic audiences, and recently supported both The Black Keys and My Morning Jacket. Their album The Nerve is currently nominated for Best Rock Album at the Independent Music Awards. In December 2011, the powerhouse music blog RSL named Filligar one of the top 8 live acts in the USA, along with fellow Windy City band Wilco.
The Rassle - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
The Rassle
Every once in a while, a band comes along that stands apart from the rest. There's something immediately familiar but undeniably new, absolutely their own, and fun as hell. That band is the Rassle. Driven by brothers, Reed and Blair Van Nort (guitars/keys and vocals, respectively), The Rassle recorded a few songs in a cramped NYC apartment with a $50 microphone and an old computer. The resulting 4-song EP--which the band gave away for free on their website (www.therassle.com)--earned them a considerable amount of buzz and acclaim.

The Fader described their music best, saying they create“fully fist-pumpable, soccer chant, working-for-the-weekend all star self-assurance jams of that goodness gracious variety.”

The brothers recently teamed up with drummer Warren Stubbs and producer John O'Mahony (Metric, Depeche Mode) to record their debut album which is expected to be released in 2015
