Deitre - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Deitre
DEITRE is a provocative new wave Glam Rock duo rooted in NYC, drenched in its cultural revolution. Richie Bee leads this all-out sensory experience with a striking, charismatic stage presence, fusing artful androgyny with a piercing vibrato and heartfelt lyrics in dramatic fashion. What may at first seem like an unlikely pairing, guitarist and producer Peter Savad creates a perfect melodic and aesthetic balance with his love for simple, stripped down rock and roll. As a result, this art-rock power-pop pair develop a space that feels less like another rock band, and more like an all-encompassing queer-empowered troupe of socially entwined, gender-blended performers. Committed to their grassroots approach of distributing raw entertainment directly to the people, they have gained trust and devotion in climbing numbers, igniting once dormant themes of rage, faith, sexuality, and self-worth through the ethereal sounding Rock experience of the DEITRE doctrine.
Jim Andralis - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Jim Andralis
Jim Andralis just released his solo debut, Your Dying Wish Come True. His funny and often heartbreaking songs explore the fragile beauty of human connection and stubborn hope in the face of its loss. Andralis wrote Your Dying Wish Come True during a period of several sudden and not-so-sudden personal tragedies. The album’s nine original compositions and one cover grapple with the fears and uncertainties faced by everybody – the absence of loved ones, the absurdity of daily existence, the search for meaning – and through the very act of songwriting make a case for solace.
Violent In Black - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Violent In Black
Violent in Black is an alternative hard rock trio from New York City that delivers heavy and intensely energetic music to the masses. Violent in Black, also known as ViB, formed in 2016 and is comprised of Julian Rhine (guitars/vocals), Joe Berson (bass/vocals), and CJ Yturralde (drums). In January of 2016, Berson answered Rhine's ad on Craigslist and the two met for the first time in a rented room at Astoria Soundworks. They instantly recognized their musical chemistry by rocking songs from the legendary catalogues of Nirvana, Green Day, and Metallica. Though it would take months for the band to be named, Violent in Black had formed.

ViB began honing their sound and writing original music immediately and organically, with Rhine and Berson constantly trading riffs, melodies, and lyrics. Blistering songs like “Cocaine Road Trip” and “No Church” were the first two songs that created a musical direction for the band. During the songwriting process, the duo of Rhine/Berson were constantly on the hunt for the perfect drummer. After auditioning many local percussionists, CJ Yturralde answered a flier and showed up at Rivington Rehearsal Studios on an October evening. Yturralde perfectly blended with the band's relentless sound and officially joined the band that same night.

With the trio completed, ViB began playing live to big crowds in Lower Manhattan (The Delancey, Leftfield). To keep up momentum from their packed shows and from the release of “Cocaine Road Trip,” Violent in Black has been filling their calendar with gigs and recording new music that will be released throughout 2017.

Violent in Black creates songs that punch listeners with vigorous potency. The powerful vocals and crunchy bass of Joe Berson, the thunderous drums of CJ Yturralde, and the high-octane guitar and aggressive vocals of Julian Rhine fuel the ViB sound that promises to be a pivotal force in the revival of New York City rock music.
