Second Child - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
Second Child
Second Child is a psychedelic folk rock band based in NYC. Their sound is a blend of old and new, verbed-out guitars and catchy driving rhythms, vocal harmonies both intimate and bombastic. All five members sing, leading to exploratory vocal arrangements that tinge each song with an unmistakable color.

The band released a surprise EP in late December in response to a very shocking November. They hadn’t planned on writing or releasing anything new, but a sobering turn in America’s politics sparked the need to work through some emotions that only seemed to sort themselves out in songs. They wrote, recorded, and mixed all five tracks in their own apartment (miraculously, without any complaints from neighbors) and released the day the Electoral College sealed the deal. After attending the Women’s March on Washington, Second Child put out a music video for “It’s Gonna Happen Anyway” with footage from that day, to support the EP’s release and its message. All of the proceeds from the purchase of “Years End” go to Planned Parenthood.

Second Child has been simultaneously working on a five song EP to be released this spring, a work that has been carefully and thoughtfully crafted for several months. They are extremely excited to share with the world the newest chapter in their journey.
Scott James - (Set time: 6:30 PM)
Scott James
Scott James is a singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Praised by American Songwriter for his "captivating voice" and San Jose Mercury News for displaying "a gift for crafting eloquent lyrics and memorable melodies," his candid, emotional songs seamlessly blend layers of folk, rock and blues. Scott has developed a solid fan base through Non-Comm/AAA airplay, and a 6-month regular rotation of his song "My Road" from his EP Destinesia on SiriusXM's "The Coffee House" channel. His new singles "River" and "Rosary," produced by industry veteran Warren Huart, demonstrate his ever-deepening commitment to songwriting and lyrics that are "real." Scott has performed throughout the LA area, but now you can usually find him in his new stomping ground of New York City.
