Stu Larsen - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
Stu Larsen
These days, Stu Larsen lives out of a suitcase. You might find the nomadic musician somewhere between his native Australia, Spain or Japan, before he picks up and sets off for the next destination. In support of his 2014 debut album Vagabond, Larsen brought his music to the masses with a spate of global tours which gained him international recognition. Along the way Larsen began collating ideas for his 2017 follow up album Resolute, due for release July 21st. The album then came together in various locations around the globe, from a cottage in Scotland, an apartment in Spain, and an old army bunker back in Australia. Larsen shares an important message in Resolute. “I hope everyone can…” he leaves off. “Too often, we just switch off and don’t think enough. Hopefully, these songs can spark something positive in listeners. Live simply. Don’t worry about the excesses. I hope everyone can come together around this music.”
Gold Child - (Set time: 6:30 PM)
Gold Child
Gold Child is a Brooklyn-based psych-folk group fronted by singer/songwriter, Emily Fehler and joined by Jake Beal on drums. Fehler moved to New York after finishing her studies at Berklee College of Music. As she began the process of coming up for air in Brooklyn, she developed an obsession with the music made by the great female troubadours of country music’s golden era — namely the work of luminary songstresses Patsy Cline and Emmylou Harris. Seduced by the raw emotion and timeless melodies of the classics, Fehler — a gifted vocalist herself — had found a new direction and sought to apply her own stamp to the form. With the addition of ethereal, shimmering atmospherics to her own folk songs, Fehler laid the groundwork for what would become Gold Child’s sound.

Gold Child recently released their Sophomore single, “Me And You”, drawing comparisons to Mazzy Star, Angel Olsen, and Neko Case, and is currently working on the band’s debut full length due out this fall.
