Dead Men Dreaming - (Set time: 7:45 PM)
Dead Men Dreaming
Dead Men Dreaming is an American Hard Rock band formed in New York in 2004 by a group of friends who grew up in the same neighborhood. After tearing up the local scene and releasing a few demos independently, DMD got into the studio in 2006 to record their first full length album, a self-titled release that was one of CMJ's top 5 most added albums in April of 2007. Following another successful release in 2008, the band headlined their own shows at New York’s Gramercy Theater and Irving Plaza as well performing at the Nokia Theater in Times Square and Bamboozle 2009 in New Jersey. In addition to their extensive touring of the east coast, mid-west and California, notably at the Whisky-A-Gogo, DMD has also played several South By Southwest music festivals since 2007.
In 2010, singer/keyboardist Mike Triana, lead guitarist Anthony Bordonaro, rhythm guitarist Paul Riccobono, bassist Rich Riccobono and drummer Dima Shnaydman began working on new material. DMD enlisted platinum record producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank) to help bring out the very best of the band’s more refined and mature sounding songs, and with Jim at the helm, they recorded their most inspired work to date, "Last Call," which combines the decadent attitude of 80's rock with a visceral modern sound. After debuting "Last Call" to a sell-out crowd at Gramercy Theater, and due to a recent buzz from their loyal fans since their recent 3 year hiatus, DMD is hitting the stage again full force at the Mercury Lounge in NYC on August 12th.
Human Decline - (Set time: 6:15 PM)
Human Decline
Formed in 2000, Human Decline is an aggro-tech assault machine hailing from Brooklyn NY. After the demise of the band Enemy Within, Drummer Richie Latoni and guitarist John Cosenza sought to create a technical metal outfit with a NYHC influence. Rounding out the lineup was bassist Danny Cymbal, guitarist Tommy Houtas, and vocalist Anthony Tantuccio. They promptly released two demos showcasing their intense, unrelenting power and precision. Human Decline quickly began getting attention around the local NY hardcore scene, sharing the stage in and around the north east with well known acts such as: Napalm Death, Soilent Green, Sepultura, SuperJoint Ritual, Candiria, Full Blown Chaos, A Life Once Lost, and the Red Chord.

A vocalist change in 2003 soon led to the release of the HDEP. 2004 saw the departure of Houtas and the addition of guitarist Vincent Castiglia, prompting a slew of live shows, and intense writing. In 2005 HD went into the studio to record the EP 'Remedy for The Living'. Unfortunately the lengthy recording hiatus proved detrimental to the band. Shortly after the release of 'Remedy', members Cymbal and Castiglia decided to part ways with HD. Guitarist Fabrizio Matrascia and bassist Scott Brown would join the band in 2006, and HD would soon record the unreleased 2008 demo. Browns departure from the band in late 2008 would lead to the addition of bassist Steve Perlmutter (Vext, A Great Day To Die).

Currently on hiatus from live performances, the band is set to Re-release the 05' Remedy For The Living EP, via Lost Apparitions Records.
