Truth & Salvage Co.
Truth & Salvage Co.
The six musicians of Truth & Salvage Co. boast four lead singer/songwriters, each with a unique story to tell and voice to be heard. Together, they rise up from one common seed, and something bigger is made. Originally hailing from Atlanta, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Tupelo and various cities throughout Ohio, each member has roots in a different past. It’s from these diverse origins that acCompany of brothers has formed, ultimately connected by the shared bond we now know as Truth & Salvage. The result is genuine American Rock ‘N’ Roll with a timeless sound and interwoven lyrical storytelling. Prior to the conception of Truth & Salvage Co., the members had been involved in their own side projects that include bands like Scrappy Hamilton and Old Pike. In addition, they have all performed and collaborated with many other well-known and talented acts such as The Moldy Peaches, Ben Folds Five, Jack Johnson, and The Squirrel Nut Zippers; as well as members of My Morning Jacket and Rogue Wave.

Jesse Thomas
Jesse Thomas
In late 2008, with no money to her name, Jesse Thomas headed for Los Angeles from Kentucky completely alone. After a few open mic nights and some raw demo recordings, she caught the attention of producer Jim Roach at Red Parade Music. Jim found something special in Jesse that countless others would soon come to recognize: a hilarious, yet poignant personality shining through her smoky, battle-scarred voice.

After working with Jim, Jesse debuted her Hazel EP in September of 2010. The EP debuted in the top 10 on iTunes’ singer/songwriter chart and was featured as both a New and Noteworthy and Indie Spotlight release. Come February 2011, her song “You I Want” was featured at Starbucks stores across the U.S. and Canada as their Pick of the Week. “Stay,” also off the EP, became a YouTube sensation after being featured on Teen Nick's Degrassi.

Since then, Jesse has opened for the likes of John Mayer, Cary Brothers, Crash Kings, Owl City, Lights and Angel Taylor.

Jesse’s debut album, War Dancer, arrived on Valentine’s Day of 2012. It debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes' singer/songwriter chart and placed in the top 25 on Billboard’s Heatseekers, New Artist and Folk charts. During that time, the song “Fire” was featured as iTunes’ indie download of the week and generated over 130,000 downloads.

Jesse is currently in the studio working on her next project, as well as setting up to tour during the fall and spring. Make sure you don’t miss her while she’s on the road!
