Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
From the NEW YORKER: Nov. 12: Tragedy: An All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees parodies the angelic harmonies and boogie-friendly grooves of the legendary brothers Gibb using the guitar wallop of heavy metal. The heroically ridiculous endeavor actually demonstrates the versatility of the Bee Gees’ oeuvre. Even when butchered with hellion shrieks and shredding solos, hallowed disco hymns like “Nights on Broadway” and “Jive Talkin’” still shine.

Hair Supply is the greatest heavy metal tribute to Air Supply that
ever existed. It was formed in 2004 by Phil Costello, although its
history can be traced back to the Big Bang (or Big "Chill," as the
hotly contested meme goes in contemporary scientific parlance). In
2007, Phil went on to co-found Tragedy, the greatest heavy metal
tribute to the Bee Gees that ever existed, thus proving that Hair
Supply is not only the greatest metal Air Supply tribute band that
ever existed (that much was known before Tragedy), but pretty much the most
seminal band ever, of all times. In fact, please see our photo, in
which you can actually literally see the semen embark toward propagating more
and more creations of genius throughout perpetuity, all at the behest
of Hair Supply.

upcoming show at Mercury Lounge in November the most importantly
anticipated gig of all times.
