Coming off the streets of the Bronx & Brooklyn , NY ; Tired Wings decided the time was right to go back to the roots of rock and roll. In June of 2009 they had their first show and followed up with a 4 song E.P, " You Snooze ... You Lose" in July. They never looked back and gig throughout NYC. Their hard work paid off when their song " Mountain Song " was recognized by the writers Classic Rock Online Magazine in October of that same year. They went into the studio in Dec to record their 2nd EP, "You Slow ... You Blow" which was unleashed in April of 2010.
Not resting on there small laurels they proceeded to play throughout the year in New York & New Jersey area by playing one show a month for much of 2010. Their song " Whiskey to Go " was chosen to be in the landmark issue #150 of Classic Rock Magazine that year. By the time Dec came along they went into the studio during the winter & spring months for their August 2011 release of their first full length album , "While You Were Sleeping ..." With a few shows already since 2011 it is no doubt Tired Wings will continue there style of doom punk blues for the remaining year of 2011.
