Because of their willingness to play in front of anyone who will
listen, it is only a matter of time before you will see Follower -- and
when you do, you fall in love. Seasoned band members have all cut their teeth in a variety of earlier projects, but were simply unhappy with those musical avenues (and the music scenes that enveloped them). The foursome of Josh Moran (vocals/guitar), Nash Breen (drums), Eric Rudik (lead guitar) and Gianni Scalese (bass), came together with the intentions of doing something not only new and innovative, but also relatable to wide audience. With collective influences ranging from The Pixies and Nirvana, to Elliott Smith and The Beach Boys, it's safe to say the resulting music is eclectic. Although Follower has only been a band for a short while now, they are already receiving praise for their wild and energetic live show. Make sure you catch the band coming to a town near you, in support of their debut release on Mightier Than The Sword Records, due later this Fall.

HUFF THIS! - (Set time: 9:30 PM)

HUFF THIS! is a band on a mission to distort time and space. Live performances mesh music with visual imagery and dance to draw you further into waking dreams...love all over.
Smoota - (Set time: 8:30 PM)

Smoota is the alter ego of trombone player Dave 'Smoota' Smith, who currently tours with TV on the Radio. Previously he performed with Sufjan Stevens on the 2010-11 Age of Adz world tour and, throughout 2010, he played regularly on Fela!, the Broadway musical about the life and music of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. In 2010 he also played and acted in a stage opera version on Melvin Van Peebles' proto-blaxploitation flick, Sweet Sweetback's Baasasssss Song, directed by Van Peebles himself and featuring music from Burnt Sugar. On Halloween 2009, he joined Sharon Jones and members of the Dap-Kings in helping Phish cover the Rolling Stones album Exile on Main Street. He plays regularly with bhangra brass funk band Red Baraat and the dirty gospel R&B band Rev. Vince Anderson & the Love Choir. Smoota has also played and/or recorded with Spoon, El-P, Bebel Gilberto, Akron/Family, Gordon Gano (of the Violent Femmes), and The Bogmen. He studied Film and Literature at Harvard.
