Fire Without A Spark: Emma and Andy Cover Springsteen - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Fire Without A Spark: Emma and Andy Cover Springsteen
The band for “Fire Without A Spark” will feature Rick Ippolito on bass, Danny Taylor, Zoe Sarnak on piano and guitar, and Eli Zoller on guitar. Lighting design will be done by Zach Blane.

Rising rock musical stars Emma Hunton (Next to Normal, Spring Awakening) and Andy Mientus (Carrie, Spring Awakening) revisit their roots with new interpretations and classic arrangements of the music of Bruce Springsteen. Backed by a four-piece band, they bring their unique sound to songs like “Dancing In The Dark,” “Born To Run” and “Hungry Heart” for a night of working class heroism and untamed Americana. The evening will be music directed by Zoe Sarnak, and is produced by Rob Intile, Jr and Ashley Mas.

Andy Mientus is a New York based singer, actor, and writer currently appearing in MCC's production of Carrie directed by Stafford Arima. He holds 2 NYMF Outstanding Individual Performance Awards for his work in Shine! and Crazy, Just Like Me. Other theater includes Spring Awakening (Hanschen, Original Touring Company, dir. Michael Mayer), February House (New York Stage and Film, dir. Davis McCallum), Rent (Mark, Pioneer Theater Company), Big River (Huck, Music Theatre of Wichita), Academy (Maltz Jupiter Theater and Daegu, South Korea), and many NYC workshops including Peter in Bare, Diner with a score by Sheryl Crow, and new work for The Public, Roundabout, and McCarter. He also appeared in the short film Central Park Joker. He sings regularly at the major cabaret spaces in the city with artists such as Our Lady J, Kerrigan and Lowdermilk, and Michael Patrick Walker (also appears on Walker's album "Out of Context"). As a writer, he is developing a theater piece called Manhattan Kids and writing songs for a music project with Ms. Emma called Night Flights. He recently saw Springsteen live for the very first time and will certainly never be the same.
Emma Hunton is happy someone was insane enough to make this concert happen. Currently playing Maureen in RENT Off-Broadway, her past credits include Les Miserable (Young Cossette/Young Eponin), Distracted - Mark Taper Forum (Natalie), Spring Awakening (Ilse), Next to Normal (Natalie) 1st National Tour. Much love and respect for Andy, Ashley, Rob, Zoe and most importantly The Boss, without whom this glorious self-indulgent concert would not be possible.
