The Telle - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
The Telle
The Telle is an synthpop duo comprised of Tim Walsh (The Stepkids) and Gabrielle Lakshmi. The two began producing music together in summer 2015 which led to the release of their first two singles in 2016, Someone I Know and Love Magnified. On February 14th, 2017 The Telle released their first music video Say, a colorful and dynamic pop song directed and edited by Masa Tsuyuki (American Zoetrope). Prior to their collaboration, they individually performed in various ensembles around the US and internationally. From that experience, they created a live show that engaged their audiences both visually and aurally. The music is accompanied by an interactive light show while Walsh and Lakshmi move between keyboards, bass, guitar and electronic drums. The performance is a mix of both vocal and instrumental delivery that captures the depth of Lakshmi’s vocal prowess and their collaborative, improvisational spirit.
Verdigrls - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Verdigrls is a indie pop trio comprised of sisters and vocalists Catherine and Anna Wolk and guitarist Rachel Rossen. What began as Catherine’s musings of isolation and nostalgia recorded in Anna’s college dorm in 2013, has grown up into a fully formed band. The foundation of the group is their penchant for conveying unapologetic feeling. Unprotected by alter egos or a “too cool” facade, sincerity is at the core of Verdigrls. Writing, recording and producing in Catherine’s bedroom, they entangle the artificial, synthesizers and electronic beats, with intoxicated guitar riffs and violin and cello, proving all three of their classical roots.

Their sound both calms and leaves you uneasy. Their next EP will be out eventually.
