Paperdoll - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
Steaming up the dance-rock scene from Shanghai to New York, PaperDoll's high-octane shows are gathering them friends from all over the globe.

PaperDoll returns to the US in 2011 after an overwhelming reception in China including shows at the Shanghai World Expo. Bringing crowds to their feet during their multi-city tour, actual TV headlines on the evening news about PaperDoll exclaimed..."US Band Overwhelms Expo Visitors!"

Their infectious high-energy sound can be heard in NIKE, Dayquil, Good Day New York, The Today Show, MTV, Blender, Maxim, Gotham, and a slew of films including critically acclaimed The People I've Slept With. PaperDoll's contagiously peppy video for single "If Nothing Happened "(also featured in a Vick's Dayquil commercial) was recently touted by Deli Magazine as a remedy for the Winter Blues.

PaperDoll's high octane shows-turned-all-out-raves are gathering them loyal fans all over the world, but the four-piece tour-de-force started in the dirty perdy Lower East Side of New York City. Teresa Lee met Irish native Patrick Moloney in the open mic circuit and along with NJ transplants - Chip Thomas and Jack Koch. In May 2009, Jack Koch (bass) left the band and Steve Paelet joined - rounding out the rhythm section.

"PaperDoll is tearing the city a new ars*ole!" ~ Weekender Shanghai

New York's premiere indie dance-pop band, PaperDoll has been compared to No Doubt, The Cure, and Muse. Their unique blend of rock, pop, and good old-fashioned dance-till-you-drop shows have made them a must-see in the live music scene.

The New Velvet - (Set time: 6:30 PM)
The New Velvet
"The New Velvet is a band consisting of four friends, who've been playing and performing together since high school. The band consists of Dustin W (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Robby Tal (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Ben Antelis (Drums/Vocals), and Sheep (Bass/Keys/Vocals). Their self-titled album, released in August 2011, has already been featured on popular websites like, Sonicscoop, and Gobbler. They are currently setting up shows around the US, preparing to solidify their presence in the music industry. Only a year and a half ago, all four members were in a rock band, touring around the US, and sharing the bill with artists like Natasha Bedingfield, Plain White T's, Evan And Jaron, Brand New, Talib Kweli, J. Cole, P.O.S., and Max Bemis of Say Anything. In addition, they have played at festivals such as, Bamboozle and RutgersFest. Using the knowledge and experience they have acquired from years of playing alongside national acts, recording and traveling together, and being a self-contained writing team, they are finally ready to create the music they were meant to make and be The New Velvet. With their dreamy pop sound, lush four-part harmonies, chest-pumping grooves, and songs that induce feelings of hope and love, they give profound insight into their lives'.

2012 is the year of TNV, and everyone is invited to the party. You can find everything TNV on,, and on Twitter - @TheNewVelvet."
