Yule Dogs
Yule Dogs
A Christmas collective featuring members of all bands on the bill, bringing it home with a rocking set of sing-along yuletide classics.
Wormburner
Wormburner
"Drawing from the sounds of the '80s American rock underground, Wormburner takes those tones and uses them to paint vivid character sketches electrically delivered by frontman Hank Henry. Wormburner has roamed the streets of NYC for the better part of half a decade, collecting details and sketches of local color for their songs" – KEXP in Seattle
Christopher John Campion with Mad Staggers
Christopher John Campion with Mad Staggers
Christopher John Campion is a New York City singer-songwriter/author known, most notably, for his rollicking off-Broadway music-monologue-multimedia driven piece, Escape From Bellevue (performed in front of his longtime band Knockout Drops) and the critically acclaimed memoir of the same name that followed on Gotham/Penguin Books. In 2016 he released his first full length solo album, Watch The Gap, touring the tri-state and opening shows for M.Ward and Violent Femmes. 2017 finds CJC out with a brand new band and two new records; the first being the freshly released solo EP, Split Milk, and the forthcoming full length album of cover songs entitled, Pulling off Some Covers made with a super-collective of monster musicians called Mad Staggers (featuring members of Joe Walsh's and Doctor John's bands, respectively, and more). Mad Staggers is a Faces-esque detonation of unapologetic dirty, powerpop infused, rock and roll. Campion is a howling, growling, grinning, spinning, sweaty frontman who talks shite on the microphone in between songs. It's a great night out....ferociously old school with chunks of DJ culture in its stool.
Jolly Good
Jolly Good
Jolly Good grows from the charred remains of '00s NYC power pop kids The Behoovers. The tight little outfit pairs singer/songwriter Jon Fox with Wormburnerman guitarist Paul McDaniel + a monster rhythm section of Evan Sanyour and Ethan Rosenblatt . Pre-production is underway for their debut longplayer (working title 'Man or Monkey') and you can expect a set that roughly approximates a cross between Sham 69 and 1910 Fruitgum Company. Why not?
