Slow Dance
Slow Dance is a synth pop project that was formed by Alex Ryan and Jacob Chabon. Alex and Jacob are from New Jersey and Los Angeles, respectively, and the duo have a deep-rooted interest in synth-pop. When they first met, and after realizing they both had an equal passion for music, they originally weren’t sure what form the music they would end up making together would take or how serious the project would be; however, after long conversations about shared ironic wistfulness for sounds and aesthetics bygone and after penning their first song together, they realized the direction that they were headed, and decided that the 80’s synth-pop sound was right for them and their music.
