Dead Boots - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Dead Boots
"They play bluesy, sleazy, guitar raunch" -- Rolling Stone

"Tips the hat to its rock & roll predecessors without feeling trite or at all derivative: -- NPR

"A fresh take on exactly what made rock great in the first place.""--The Deli Magazine NYC
A rock & roll band with an enduring fondness for pure pop and a wicked, sly sense of humor, Dead Boots defy easy categorization. They love The Beatles and Cheap Trick as much as T-Rex and The Rolling Stones, yet as much as Dead Boots draw on classic rock influences, they are a vibrant, contemporary band that blends the vigor of punk, the might of arena rock and the melodicism of power-pop, earning the admiration of Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse, Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction and J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr, alt-rock stalwarts who requested the band as their opening act.

The band's latest album is titled Verónica.
Midnight Spin - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
Midnight Spin
Midnight Spin formed below the streets of Brooklyn in 2008, writing and performing music as powerful and commanding as the roaring JMZ trains and chaotic neighborhood blocks that bustle just above their basement rehearsal space. The following summer, the group released their debut EP to a sellout crowd at Manhattan's famed Mercury Lounge and toured extensively behind it, introducing audiences to a new incarnation of passionate guitar-based alternative rock. While their raucous showmanship and tight performances saw them named one of the 10 Must-See Bands at the annual CMJ Festival, the instant success of their Through the Mojo Wire EP earned Midnight Spin the 2010 Independent Music Award for Best Rock Song.

The group recently finished recording their debut LP, Don't Let Me Sleep, with acclaimed Producer/Engineer Justin Gerrish (Vampire Weekend, The Strokes). The album showcases the five members of the band at their best, distilling immediately melodic, to-the-point songwriting throughout the course of twelve songs, while displaying inspired ambition and comfort playing at both ends of the volume spectrum. With the release set for January 2013, this album will break down your door and sleep on your couch.
